About

LiaSon Counseling Services

LiaSon Counseling Services provides therapy for women who are tired of carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders. Many of the clients I work with are Black and minority professional women—high-achieving, dependable, and driven yet they often feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or disconnected from themselves. They carry responsibilities, expectations, and unspoken pressures, while struggling to find space to simply be.

In this space, therapy isn’t about “fixing” what’s wrong. It’s about slowing down, understanding patterns, strengthening boundaries, and reconnecting with the person you are beneath the roles you play. Sessions are supportive, honest, and practical, focusing on stress management, improving communication, rebuilding self-trust, and creating lasting emotional balance.

Clients often describe therapy as a place where they feel seen, challenged with care, and supported without judgment. The goal isn’t just relief—it’s growth: moving from surviving to thriving, and creating a life that feels intentional, grounded, and aligned. You don’t have to navigate this journey alone.

The struggle you are in today is developing the strength you need for tomorrow.

Meet Therapist Alelia Watson

—— Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S)

I’m Alelia “Lia” Watson, a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), and I help women who are used to being the strong, dependable one finally prioritize themselves. Many of my clients are Black and minority professional women who are accomplished and capable, yet feel overwhelmed, emotionally depleted, or disconnected from their needs.

Therapy with me is collaborative and intentional. It’s not about fixing flaws—it’s about understanding patterns, strengthening boundaries, and creating emotional balance that supports both personal and professional life. My approach is honest, supportive, and focused on building tools that lead to lasting change.

I’m also deeply committed to supervising and empowering LPC-Associates as they develop their clinical identity and confidence. Whether you’re seeking personal growth or professional support, you’re not meant to navigate this journey alone.
