LiaSon Counseling Services provides services to address your mental health concerns. We provide therapy in a confidential, unbiased environment. We address a range of issues from depression management, communication, women’s issues, work-life balance, self-esteem improvement, anger, and stress management or any other concerns you may have. We believe the struggle you are in today is developing the strength you need for tomorrow.
We utilize various evidence-based modalities, which include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, and Solution-Focused Therapy. The goal is to work collaboratively explore and identify interventions that reduce symptoms and elicit long-term changes.

My name is Alelia Watson, but many call me Lia for short. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in the Houston area and have been in practice since 2013. I was born in Pittsburgh, PA (Go Steelers!) and moved to Houston at a young age. I have a Master’s in counseling education with a specialty in marriage and family from Sam Houston State University. I also received my Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and psychology from Sam Houston State University.
In addition to marriage and family therapy, my specialties include depression management, communication, women’s issues, work life balance, self-esteem improvement, and anger and stress management. I am passionate about assisting individuals with obtaining their personal goals. This is done in a confidential, unbiased, nonjudgmental space. My goal is to give people the tools to build the best and most authentic version of themselves. Everyone can learn and develop skills to handle life’s problems.
